LE BLEU CORPORATION SIGNS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH DUBAI COMPANY
ADVANCE, N. C. , November 25, 2009 – Le Bleu Corporation announced today that they have signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Tradeways International to provide small package bottled water products to fifteen Middle Eastern countries. Tradeways, chartered in the United Arab Emirates, is obtaining government approval to market Le Bleu’s ultra pure steam-distilled water in the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Oman, Pakistan, India, Yemen, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Bangladesh.
Under the licensing agreement signed, Tradeways will market Le Bleu bottled water under the label of Le Bleu Dubai to the finest hotels in the Middle East. “Le Bleu’s ultra pure water sets itself apart from any product,” said Mohamed Iqbal, Managing Director.
Mr. Iqbal is obtaining trademark protection for Le Bleu Dubai and registering all seals for the product to avoid copyright infringement. Tradeways is also conducting third-party laboratory testing to ensure Le Bleu Dubai is not duplicated by rival suppliers.
“I’m very excited about our new relationship with Tradeways International,” said Brock Agee, Vice-President and General Manager of Le Bleu Corporation. “We are forecasting a volume of 80 forty-foot containers per month, with the first shipment in approximately 60 days. This will generate a lot of revenue for a North Carolina company.”
'Water is more valuable than oil,” said Charlie Mays, co-owner of FCA, who helped broker Le Bleu’s distribution agreement with Tradeways. Mays cited the World Health Organization’s statistic that 80% of global disease can be traced to contaminated or unhealthy water. Mays said that the Dubai government approved Le Bleu ultra pure steam-distilled water as one of the best available for their citizens.
