Haiti Receives 21,672 Bottles of Donated Le Bleu Water

ADVANCE, N. C. – Le Bleu Corporation has donated 21,672 bottles of their Ultra Pure, steam-distilled, water to the earthquake-stricken country of Haiti. Global Medical Outreach of Clinton, N. C., will distribute Le Bleu water along with over half a million dollars in medical supplies during their visit to Haiti February 20-28, 2010.
“There are over 40 people a day dying of dehydration, so water is one of the most important gifts that we will take,” said Noel Thompson, International Transport Coordinator for the missions’ team. Global Medical is also taking clothes, shoes, tents and food collected from across North Carolina.
The tractor-trailer load is the third Le Bleu donation of Ultra Pure water to Haiti. The company has also donated 15,000 bottles of water through God’s Pit Crew and Operation Compassion to the Haitian crisis; and 4,956 bottles for the 82nd Airborne Division from Ft. Bragg, N. C., who flew to Haiti immediately after the earthquake.
